Avengers Again

Saw the Avengers during the first showing on Sunday after church. Two tickets for $11 and there were not that many people either, such a deal.

Bagira Buddy

Yesterday, our fantastic cat Bagira left us. He was so awesome and cuddly, we miss him so much.

Ikea Trip!

Just spent over five hours in the adult amusement park with the Friesens. We left around 7 in the morning and drove down to Ikea in Burbank. When we got there we had lunch at Ikea's cafeteria, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. We then went through the entire 'trail' just enjoying the variety of furniture and styles. We only bought one big thing, a POÄNG chair for Becca with 2 cushions (Because Becca and I had conflicting ideas on what color to get :P). We planned on getting one eventually, and since they were having a deal that weekend it sealed the deal; the chair was $40, normally $60, and the cushions $9 a piece down from $30ish. The Friesens got one two, apparently Brian really liked them when we were looking for one for us. 


After we checked out with other misc. things we were surprised to have spent less than $100, which was nice. We then went to Costco where we picked up a snack at the food court, Becca got a salad and I got a berry smoothie since I messed up my words. (I meant to say a berry sundae, but smoothie came out :( )


We then drove back up the coast to home, stopping to have dinner at a Denny's near Santa Barbara.


Sorry I am lacking pictures, I think Becca has some and we'll upload them when we have time and care enough to do it.


 Overall we had a blast, and lets say there was a lot of shenanigans. 


Happened May 6th.

Tony's B-day Party and Bagira came back!

After being gone for two days, someone decides to show up. Looks like someone was on Rumspringa.

Had a wonderful day with Miss Lynne (taking the picture), Luke, CO and his gf, the Friesens, and my wonderful wife.

Got Skyrim (The Hart's and Becca), a pizza stone (My Wife), a sweet screw driver set from iFixit (Brian and Sarah), some sock sorters (a practical funny gift from the Friesens), a six-pack of Mike's hard lemonade + $ (Miss Lynne), and some SLO Donuts (CO)

Also, went to see the Avengers with Luke, Miss Lynne, and my Wif.

It was a great blend of action and character dynamics that allowed for a funny yet serious film. Becca got it right we she said it was great that none of the actors tried to take the lime light, and that they shared it, feeding off of one another. Loved the last battle scene, was great action and explosions without being Michael Bay over the top. The movie was fantastic, and I would definitely see it again.

Also turned in our recycling, only got $8.73. :(
